Language Charter

imageThe entire community of Ysgol Rhiwlas including the staff, pupils, school council, headteacher and governing body are fully committed to the Language Charter’s requirements.
The Welsh Language and our Welsh culture figure prominently in everything we do. No opportunity is lost to promote Welshness within the school, and the wider community. We take pride in our local area and Welshness.
Our lonks governor is Mr Hefin Williams, County Councillor, Llanddeiniolen. He regularly visits to discuss successes and developments with the School Council and also reports on the Language Charter at governors meetings.
We are very proud of our Gold accreditation and are at the vanguard in the County in encouraging the development of the language.
We welcome any comments or ideas on developing and protecting the Welsh language internally and in the Community.
